One of the expedition’s essential highlights is undoubtedly the culinary experience! Regardless of the day’s adventures, you can count on being nourished with wholesome and delectable meals, along with delightful morning and afternoon teas prepared by our talented onboard chefs.
Meal times are a fantastic opportunity to bask in the camaraderie of the expedition, as you gather in our open-seating dining area. Share your stories with fellow travelers and seek answers to any questions that may have arisen during the day with our knowledgeable expedition team.
On the Greg Mortimer, we offer two dining options: our main venue serves buffet-style family meals with à la carte dinner, and we also have the Tuscan Grill, a concept restaurant that requires reservations.
For the Sylvia Earle, you’ll find two dining venues as well: the Gentoo, our primary space, offers buffet-style breakfast and lunches, with à la carte dinner service. The Rockhopper, our reservations-required restaurant, provides a steakhouse-style dinner experience.
Tea, coffee, and snacks are available around the clock, and our chefs present an array of menu options and courses for every meal. After a day of adventure in the wild, savor the selection of house wines, beers, and soft drinks included with your dinner.
As a special treat, we extend an invitation for you to join the captain and the expedition team for a casual Captain’s Farewell gathering, featuring complimentary beverages and cocktail appetizers, followed by a delightful three-course meal.
