Three new itineraries celebrate the spirit of polar exploration and adventure. In Shackleton’s Footsteps retraces the steps of legendary explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton and his crew, while two new voyages incorporating the Chilean Fjords offer expeditioners the opportunity to follow in Darwin’s footsteps.

Our new purpose-built small ships, the Greg Mortimer, the Sylvia Earle, and the Douglas Mawson (setting sail in 2025), carry a maximum of 130 passengers, our fleet is redefining expedition cruising for the future.

Traveling in small groups means that, unlike on larger ships, you can join every excursion, getting into the environment and exploring via Zodiac cruises, guided walks, participating in our Citizen Science Program and much more. You can also add another layer to your expedition by participating in unique add-on activities including kayaking, snorkeling and scuba diving.
Enjoy our informal style and experiential approach to expedition cruising, delivered by our highly skilled Expedition Leaders and their teams.

Set foot on the epic seventh continent, cruise past tabular icebergs and visit historical sites – including the most southerly post office in the world.

"All of the Antarctica destinations we visited were unique, breathtaking, beautiful, humbling - no words can really describe the raw nature and profound emotions I experienced."

Antarctic Circle

Few are lucky and privileged enough to tick the elusive 7th continent off their travel bucket list, and even fewer are afforded the opportunity to cross the Antarctic Circle. On an Antarctic Circle expedition, embrace the spirit of adventure as you navigate narrow channels full of pack ice and breathtaking ice sculptures, allowing nature to dictate your itinerary.

Whether it was whale watching from the Zodiacs, playing with leopard seals, visiting penguin colonies or marveling at the shapes of floating icebergs... it was only made better by the comforts on board... What an unforgettable experience!”

South Georgia & Falklands~Malvinas

Experience the greatest wildlife show on the planet on your expedition to South Georgia, with thousands of king penguins, seals and seabirds on display throughout the sandy beaches, rugged coves and surrounding snow- capped mountains. Stretch your legs on the windswept coastlines of the Falklands~Malvinas, rich in dramatic military history and home to the world’s largest black-browed albatross colony.

"The destinations where positively EPIC...Thank you for an exceptional, life-changing experience that took me out of my comfort zone... I brought home memories and more: a craving to return."

Weddell Sea

Visit part of Antarctica that few get to experience on a true expedition that pushes below the Antarctic Circle to the eastern side of the Antarctic Peninsula. Embrace the spirit of exploration as you attempt to forge a path through the ice-choked Weddell Sea, retracing the paths of early explorers including Shackleton himself.

"I seemed to vow to myself that some day I would go to the region of ice and snow and go on and on till I came to one of the poles of the earth"
