Saunders Carmichael-Brown​

Saunders Carmichael-Brown is an award winning digital and broadcast Presenter and Producer with a background in adventure travel, sports and sustainability.

He was an integral part of the small media team on the 2022 Endurance Antarctic Expedition that found Sir Ernest Shackleton’s famous shipwreck. Saunders was fundamental in broadcasting the expedition journey and updates to millions of viewers across the world. From breaking ground with social content including the first TikTok live stream from Antarctica, to directing and producing a three-part History documentary on Shackleton and the Endurance from the locations of the epic survival story. A feature documentary made about the expedition from his media team has since been commissioned by National Geographic.

Saunders’ first visit to Antarctica left him hungry to return and continue where he left off, telling and sharing the stories of the polar regions, from history and wildlife to science and technology. His interest and credentials in climate science and sustainability make his passion for protecting the natural world a large part of his life and work, with the polar regions playing a significant role.
